King of the road, 19 year old James, a former pupil of North Leamington School passed his driving test the first time around. Arise James The First.
James learnt to drive in our manual car. 25 lessons later he was ready to take his driving test and he passed with flying colours. You can see him here with his new driving certificate, which will mean you'll now be able to see him driving around Warwick and Leamington without a driving instructor sitting next to him.
James may have passed his test, but with only 25 hours of driving time under his belt, he'd really benefit from displaying P plates on his car, so that other road users know that the he's only recently passed his driving test and hopefully give him a little more consideration on the road.
He should think about getting a black box fitted to his car to help him identify some of the areas that he needs to work on his driving and it also has the bonus of helping reduce his insurance premiums, which for a young driver will be high.
He could also consider taking some additional driving lessons to get some additional experience, with one of passer driving tuition programmes
. It would help him improve driving and develop new skills, such as night time driving or learning how to drive on a motorway.
